Founded by career Chef, Jake Coates - Pome is a carefully curated private fine dining experience in Melbourne shared with those yearning for a highly intimate and unique dining experience.

Catering for groups of up to 16 in your own space, guests are taken on a culinary journey of place, feeling and experience through modern seasonal pairings of only the highest quality ingredients and craftsmanship.

Originally from the United Kingdom, now settled in Melbourne, Australia, Chef Jake has had a diverse 17 year career in both London and Melbourne working in a myriad of fine establishments. Jake has a tenderness for travel, culture and experimentation that bleeds through every element of his work, as well as a deep reverence for nature and regenerative practices.

Our brand ethos is driven by four key themes; taste, place, people and regeneration. We create based on our experience of the world around us - near and far, to share this with our community with consideration and connection to our immediate landscape.

We are a small business supporting other small businesses and producers where possible. We source ingredients as locally as possible and design our menu with waste minimisation and seasonality in mind. As Pome Dining grows, we continue to develop sustainable and regenerative practices within the business.

The Experience

A 4 or 5 course tasting menu is served at your residence of choice (home or holiday home) with all necessary crockery, glassware, service and clean up included. 

An experience tailored for those who seek a private, bespoke fine dining experience.

All that is required from you is to sit back, relax and enjoy the company of your guests whilst we take care of the rest.

The Pome Dining experience is carried out from market to table by Chef Jake Coates with collaborative creative direction from partner, Gertie Hall.

Bookings are taken via email enquiry. Dates open 3 months in advance.

Serviced Areas

We service all over Melbourne and beyond; Geelong & Bellarine, Otways, Mornington Peninsula, Daylesford & Macedon Ranges, Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges. Whether it be at your home, holiday house or Airbnb.

Please note, locations beyond 30kms of Melbourne CBD are subject to a travel fee.
